The Catering
Each of packages includes all three of the day's main meals, which are provided by our friendly and professional dedicated catering hosts (NOT cooked by the guides!), and are tailored as far as possible to your individual needs. Breakfast is served continental style (a choice of cereals, baguettes and jams, eggs, coffee & tea etc). Lunch is provided daily, to take with you on the trails (baguette sandwich, crisps, fruit & chocolate bar). Last but certainly not least, dinner is a sumptuous 3-course meal with unlimited wine and coffee. Even the largest appetites will be satisfied by our meals and we are very experienced in accommodating any special dietary requirements (please let us know this when you book so we can prepare alternative meal options). Afternoon tea (available at The Eagle’s Nest and Chalet Chazalet) is there for you when you come back from riding (hot and cold drinks, plus cakes/biscuits).
Evening Entertainment
Ater a day’s riding, we very regularly stop for a pint riding at one of several watering holes a short free-wheel away from your accomodation. In Les Arcs, Chloe and Pierre always make us mountain bikers feel very welcome at the beautifully located La Vache and we often wander up for few quiet beers in time to watch the sun set over Mont Blanc. Maxima is another friendly local option just up the valley with good music and reasonably priced drinks. In Beaufort, the Auberge du Petit Randonneur has a good selection of refreshing beers, and a nice terrace for discussing the days ride and watching the world go by whilst soaking up the afternoon’s last rays. After dinner if you're not worn out or craving a good night's sleep after a full-on day on the trails, there are several options at your disposal to burn the candle a bit more.
Family & Alternative Sports and Activities
Here at trailAddiction we encourage EVERYONE to get into the mountains and this includes your non-mountain biking loved ones. Why not bring them along to be a part of your holiday? Contact us for our heavily discounted non-biking rates. Both Areches-Beaufort and Les Arcs have plenty of sporting activities to offer but are also great for anyone who simply wants to unwind in an idyllic setting with great weather! For the seasoned shopper, the major towns of Albertville and Bourg St. Maurice are only a short drive down the valley, and Annecy, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in France is less than an hour's drive away. Our friendly staff are locals to the area and have much experience in helping to organise family activities - from sports (walking, tennis, paragliding, canoeing, white water rafting etc...) to plain sunbathing.
